The TREITLER quartet is one of Swedens most sought after young string quartets. Founded in 2012 they gave a recital series in Stockholm that was followed by appearances at festivals around Sweden such as" Musik vid Siljan", Värmland Chamber Music Festival "Kammarmusik i Vintertid", Chamber Music Festival "Kammarmusikfestival i Allhelgonakyrkan" and Södertälje Chamber Music Festival. International engagements include recitals at Villa Hagalund in Helsinki, Greenfield Hall, New York, Teatro Sociale "Camogli in Musica", Genova Italy, and their UK debut concert at Conway Hall, London. Their intense performances has captured audiences and critics alike. The press has compared the TREITLER quartet's energetic style to that of the great Swedish Fresk Quartet’s. The quartet was awarded the Ensemble scholarship 2016 by the Swedish Royal Academy of Music and in 2017 a fellowship from the Gålö Foundation.

The TREITLER quartet have received guidance from Lars-Gunnar Bodin (ex-Fresk Quartet) and members of the Juillard, Tokyo, American and Brentano quartets at the Robert Mann String Quartet Institute in New York.
